For treatments, we utilize a needle, cannula, or a combination of both to inject fluids deep into the dermis. Following injections, you may experience redness, bruising, or tenderness, along with temporary swelling due to the volume of fluid injected.
You may also be instructed to gently massage the treated areas to help disperse the medication. Typically, we recommend starting with two vials of Sculptra®, followed by additional treatments every eight weeks. We will customize an ongoing corrective plan or transition to maintenance, usually involving one vial annually.
