Spider veins, or varicosities, are annoying tiny blood vessels close to the surface of your skin. They are most common on legs but can appear on other body parts, including the face, ankles, and feet. They are primarily genetic, so if one of your parents has them, you will likely have them, too! Some spider veins are more complicated than others, requiring an initial appointment to determine your needs and how we can achieve the goal of eliminating these pesky veins.
The good news is that they are often fixable! We can perform a minimally invasive procedure called sclerotherapy, which will take around 30 minutes to complete. We will inject a solution that permanently shuts down the vessel(s), improving circulation and the appearance of your skin.
